Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
JUP, or Junctional Plakoglobin, is a pivotal protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, signaling, and maintaining the integrity of tissues. It is primarily associated with desmosomes and adherens junctions, which are vital for cell-cell interactions in epithelial and cardiac tissues. Abnormalities in JUP expression or function have been linked to a range of diseases, including arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) and other conditions characterized by impaired cell junction integrity. Recent research has focused on the biochemical pathways and molecular mechanisms by which JUP influences cellular behavior and tissue architecture. Advances in recombinant technology have enabled the production of JUP and its variants, facilitating detailed studies of its structural properties and functional roles in diseases. Understanding the dynamics of JUP in health and disease is critical, as it could inform the development of targeted therapies aimed at restoring normal cell junction functions. Consequently, the study of JUP and its recombinant forms is gaining importance in the fields of cell biology and medical research, offering potential insights into novel treatment strategies for related pathologies.
