Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RpsM, or ribosomal protein S13, is a pivotal component of the ribosomal machinery in bacteria, playing a critical role in protein synthesis. As one of the key ribosomal proteins, RpsM is involved in stabilizing the structure of the ribosome and facilitating interactions between ribosomal RNA and messenger RNA. Research into the recombinant form of RpsM has gained traction due to its potential implications in understanding ribosomal function and its interactions with antibiotics, which can target bacterial protein synthesis. Given the rising concern of antibiotic resistance among pathogenic bacteria, studying RpsM not only aids in elucidating the fundamental mechanisms of ribosome assembly and function but also provides a pathway for novel therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, recombinant RpsM can be used in structural studies, enabling the determination of ribosomal complexes and their dynamics, thus contributing to a deeper understanding of the translation process. Advances in biotechnology and genetic engineering have facilitated the production of recombinant RpsM, allowing researchers to investigate its biochemical properties and role in ribosomal biogenesis. Overall, research on RpsM offers significant insights into fundamental biological processes and holds promise for innovative approaches in combating bacterial infections.
