Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RpsR, also known as ribosomal protein S18, is a crucial component of the ribosomal machinery in bacteria that plays a significant role in protein synthesis and ribosome assembly. Research on RpsR has garnered interest due to its potential implications in understanding bacterial physiology and antibiotic resistance. This protein is involved in the regulation of the ribosomal RNA operon and is essential for the proper function of the ribosome, which translates genetic information into proteins. Alterations or mutations in RpsR can lead to defects in ribosome function, ultimately affecting bacterial growth and viability. Given the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains, studying RpsR could reveal novel targets for antimicrobial drug development. Additionally, recombinant RpsR proteins can be produced for in vitro studies, aiding in the elucidation of its structural and functional properties. This understanding can enhance our knowledge of ribosome assembly and function, providing insights into the fundamental processes of bacterial life and leading to potential therapeutic strategies against bacterial infections.
