Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LEPREL1, or leucine proline-enriched protein 1, is a protein implicated in various biological processes, particularly in the context of extracellular matrix (ECM) biology and cellular response mechanisms. It has garnered attention in recent years due to its involvement in collagen maturation and the modification of ECM components, making it significant in connective tissue disorders and potential therapeutic targets for fibrosis and other related diseases. Research indicates that LEPREL1 plays a crucial role in stabilizing the structure of collagen fibers, thus influencing the physical properties of tissues. Mutations or dysregulation of LEPREL1 expression can lead to abnormal ECM formation, contributing to pathological conditions such as osteogenesis imperfecta and other skeletal abnormalities. Understanding the molecular mechanisms and biological functions of LEPREL1 is essential for elucidating its role in developmental processes and disease pathogenesis. The development of recombinant LEPREL1 proteins offers a promising approach to study the protein's interaction with various ECM components and its functional role in cellular contexts. This could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting LEPREL1-related pathways, highlighting the need for further investigation into its structural properties and biological significance in health and disease.
