Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NTE (Neuropathy Target Esterase) is a pivotal enzyme involved in various biological processes, including phospholipid metabolism and neural development. Its dysfunction has been implicated in a range of neurodegenerative diseases, making it a critical target for research aimed at understanding neuronal health and disease mechanisms. Recent studies have revealed that NTE plays a role in the pathogenesis of certain inherited neuropathies, linking genetic mutations to enzyme activity loss. Furthermore, the environmental impact of NTE inhibition by organophosphate compounds has raised concerns regarding neurotoxicity and its implications for public health. Given these associations, the exploration of recombinant NTE proteins has become essential for elucidating their structural and functional properties. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce large quantities of NTE for detailed biochemical assays, structural studies, and potential therapeutic applications. Understanding NTE's role in the nervous system not only provides insights into neurodegenerative conditions but also aids in developing safer alternatives to neurotoxic agents. As research progresses, the recombinant expression of NTE will enhance our ability to study enzyme mechanisms, interactions, and the effects of various inhibitors, thereby contributing to a broader understanding of neurobiology and potential therapeutic avenues for neuropathies related to NTE dysfunction.
