  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Amigo3, also known as T-cell activation immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing protein 3 (TIM-3), is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily that plays a crucial role in immune regulation. Its expression is primarily found on immune cells such as T cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages, where it functions as a negative checkpoint regulator, modulating T cell responses and maintaining immune homeostasis. The research on Amigo3 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various pathophysiological conditions, including autoimmune diseases, chronic infections, and tumor immunology. Aberrant expression of Amigo3 is associated with impaired T cell function, leading to reduced anti-tumor immunity in cancer patients, making it a potential therapeutic target for enhancing immune responses in cancer treatment. Studies have shown that blocking Amigo3 can restore T cell activity and improve anti-tumor efficacy. Additionally, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying Amigo3-mediated regulation of immune responses may provide insights into novel immunotherapeutic strategies. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and characterization of Amigo3, allowing researchers to better investigate its biological functions and interactions with other immune modulators. This research is not only critical for developing innovative therapies for cancer and other diseases but also opens avenues for exploring the broader implications of immune checkpoint proteins in maintaining the balance between immunity and tolerance. Overall, the study of Amigo3 represents a promising frontier in immunology, with the potential to significantly impact therapeutic interventions in diverse immune-related disorders.
