Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VIL1, or Villin-1, is an actin-binding protein primarily expressed in the intestinal epithelium, playing a crucial role in the regulation of cytoskeletal dynamics and cell motility. Its ability to remodel actin filaments makes it essential for maintaining the integrity of microvilli and facilitating cell signaling pathways. The study of VIL1 recombinant proteins has garnered interest due to its implications in various physiological and pathological processes, including epithelial cell development, wound healing, and cancer progression. Abnormal expression of VIL1 has been linked to several diseases, particularly gastrointestinal disorders and cancers, where it may influence tumor invasion and metastasis. Researchers have focused on the structural and functional characterization of VIL1 to understand its mechanism of action and interaction with other cellular components. By utilizing recombinant protein technology, scientists can produce and manipulate VIL1, enabling them to investigate its biochemical properties and biological functions in more controlled settings. These studies not only contribute to our fundamental understanding of cellular dynamics but also hold potential for therapeutic applications, as targeting VIL1 function may offer new strategies for treating diseases associated with dysregulated actin dynamics. The ongoing research into VIL1 and its recombinant forms continues to reveal insights into the complex roles of actin-binding proteins in health and disease.
