Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP5C (Protein Phosphatase 5C) is a member of the serine/threonine phosphatase family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes by regulating phosphorylation states of target proteins. The dysregulation of PPP5C has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its significant role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research into PPP5C has gained momentum due to its involvement in critical signaling pathways such as the cell cycle, apoptosis, and stress responses, making it a potential therapeutic target. The need for PPP5C studies is further underscored by its ability to modulate protein stability and activity through dephosphorylation, impacting protein-protein interactions and cellular responses to external stimuli. To facilitate in-depth investigations, the expression of recombinant PPP5C protein is essential, allowing for detailed biophysical characterization, enzymatic activity assays, and the elucidation of its molecular mechanisms. The availability of PPP5C in its recombinant form enables researchers to explore its interactions with substrates and inhibitors, paving the way for potential drug development and therapeutic applications. Understanding the functional dynamics of PPP5C could provide insights into its contributions to health and disease, and may inform strategies to manipulate its activity for clinical benefits.
