Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The PI16 protein, or Peptidase Inhibitor 16, is a serine protease inhibitor that has garnered attention due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. Research indicates that PI16 may play a significant role in modulating immune responses, as it is expressed in various immune cells and tissues. Its inhibitory function on serine proteases suggests it may be pivotal in regulating inflammation and tissue remodeling. Given the link between protease activity and numerous diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders, understanding the mechanisms governing PI16 expression and function could have therapeutic implications. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the study of PI16, allowing researchers to explore its structure, function, and interactions in greater detail. By producing recombinant PI16, scientists can investigate its enzymatic properties and potential as a biomarker or target in disease treatment, ultimately contributing to the development of innovative strategies in biomedicine.
