Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CPZ (Cysteine Proteinase Z) is a member of the papain-like cysteine protease family, which plays an essential role in various biological processes, including protein degradation, cell signaling, and immune responses. The study of CPZ and its recombinant protein has garnered significant interest due to its potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. Research has demonstrated that CPZ is involved in the pathogenesis of various diseases, such as infectious diseases and cancer, making it a target for therapeutic interventions. Additionally, the ability to produce CPZ as a recombinant protein allows for the exploration of its structure-function relationships and enzymatic properties, facilitating the development of inhibitors or modulators that could serve as lead compounds in drug discovery. Understanding the mechanism of CPZ involves employing techniques such as X-ray crystallography and molecular modeling to elucidate its active site and substrate specificity. Moreover, due to its stability and specificity, recombinant CPZ has potential applications in agricultural biotechnology as a biopesticide. Overall, ongoing research on CPZ recombinant proteins aims to unlock their biological potential and explore innovative solutions for health and environmental challenges.
