Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CARD18, a member of the caspase recruitment domain (CARD) family, is implicated in various cellular processes, including inflammation and apoptosis. Its role in immune responses has garnered significant attention, especially given its involvement in the activation of caspases, which are crucial for programmed cell death. Research has revealed that CARD18 can interact with other signaling proteins, influencing pathways tied to inflammatory diseases and cancer. The study of CARD18 recombinant protein is pivotal for elucidating its functional mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications. Recent advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of CARD18 in suitable expression systems, facilitating studies on its structure-function relationships. Characterizing CARD18 through recombinant protein approaches can reveal insights into its oligomerization and interaction with other molecular partners. Moreover, understanding the biochemical properties of CARD18 could provide identification of novel drug targets for controlling inflammation and aberrant cell death in diseases. The exploration of CARD18's role in cellular signaling underscores its potential as a biomarker in inflammatory responses and highlights the importance of further investigating its recombinant forms to develop new strategies in disease management.
