Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EXT1 is a critical gene associated with the synthesis of heparan sulfate, a polysaccharide that plays vital roles in cell signaling, development, and tissue homeostasis. Mutations in the EXT1 gene are linked to hereditary multiple exostoses (HME), a genetic condition characterized by the formation of benign bone tumors known as osteochondromas. Understanding the function and mechanisms of EXT1 is crucial, as it not only aids in elucidating the pathophysiology of HME but also provides insights into broader biological processes involving heparan sulfate. Research on EXT1 recombinant proteins aims to explore their structural and functional properties, which could have implications for therapeutic applications, including drug delivery and tissue engineering. Studies also focus on the interactions between EXT1 and other cellular pathways, helping researchers to understand how alterations in heparan sulfate biosynthesis contribute to disease progression. Overall, the investigation of EXT1 and its associated proteins is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of genetic disorders, improving diagnostic strategies, and developing targeted treatments.
