Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Recombinant proteins have become fundamental tools in biotechnology and medicine, enabling advancements in various fields. Among the top three recombinant proteins, insulin stands out as a pioneering therapeutic protein that transformed diabetes management since its first recombinant production in the 1980s. This breakthrough allowed for the creation of human insulin, enhancing the safety and efficacy of diabetes treatment compared to animal-derived alternatives. Secondly, monoclonal antibodies, such as trastuzumab, have revolutionized cancer therapy. Produced through recombinant DNA technology, these proteins specifically target cancer cells, significantly improving treatment outcomes for patients with specific types of breast cancer. Lastly, erythropoietin (EPO), a protein essential for red blood cell production, has found clinical applications in treating anemia, particularly in patients with chronic kidney disease and those undergoing chemotherapy. The ability to produce EPO recombinantly has improved the consistency and safety of treatment options. Collectively, these proteins exemplify the vast potential of recombinant technology to address pressing health challenges, showcasing how scientific innovation can yield safe and effective therapeutic solutions.
