Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HMMR, or Hyaluronan-Mediated Motility Receptor, is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, including motility, adhesion, and proliferation. It is known to interact with hyaluronic acid, a component of the extracellular matrix, facilitating cell migration and tissue remodeling. Recent studies have implicated HMMR in several pathological conditions, such as cancer metastasis and inflammatory diseases, owing to its role in cell signaling and tumor progression. Researchers have been interested in the recombinant production of HMMR to better understand its structure-function relationship and its potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of HMMR recombinant proteins allows for detailed investigation into its biological functions, interactions with other cellular components, and the molecular mechanisms underlying its involvement in disease. Such studies can provide insights into how HMMR modulates cellular behaviors and can aid in the development of novel interventions that may inhibit its activity in diseases characterized by aberrant cell motility and proliferation. Furthermore, recombinant HMMR can serve as a valuable tool for developing diagnostic assays and therapeutic strategies aimed at targeting tumor cells, thus highlighting its significance in both basic research and clinical applications. Ultimately, the exploration of HMMR and its recombinant forms can lead to greater understanding and advancement in the fight against cancer and other related diseases.
