Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCL2A1, a member of the Bcl-2 family of proteins, plays a crucial role in the regulation of apoptosis, contributing to cell survival and proliferation. Its gene is located on chromosome 15 and expresses a protein that has been implicated in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation and response to stress. Research has shown that BCL2A1 acts as an anti-apoptotic factor, helping cells evade programmed cell death, which is particularly relevant in cancer biology as many tumors exploit this mechanism to resist therapies. Elevated levels of BCL2A1 expression have been observed in various malignancies, including breast cancer and lymphoma, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The study of recombinant BCL2A1 protein is vital for understanding its functional properties and interactions with other proteins in the apoptotic pathway. Utilizing recombinant technology, researchers can produce BCL2A1 in vitro, enabling detailed investigations into its structure, function, and the effects of potential inhibitors or modulators. This line of research is essential for the development of novel cancer treatments aimed at reactivating the apoptotic process in cancerous cells by influencing BCL2A1 activity. Overall, the characterization of BCL2A1 through recombinant protein studies is a promising avenue to unravel the complexities of apoptosis regulation and its implications in cancer therapy.
