Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APC (Adenomatous Polyposis Coli) protein is a crucial tumor suppressor associated with the regulation of cell growth and adherence. Mutations in the APC gene are predominantly linked to Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP), a hereditary condition that significantly increases the risk of developing colorectal cancer due to the formation of numerous adenomatous polyps in the colon. Beyond its role in FAP, APC is implicated in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is vital for various cellular processes, including differentiation, proliferation, and migration. Research into APC has expanded to explore its multifaceted functions in maintaining genomic stability and coordinating cytoskeletal dynamics. The study of APC recombinant proteins has gained momentum as these proteins can be used to dissect the molecular mechanisms underlying its tumor-suppressive functions and Wnt pathway regulation. By producing recombinant APC proteins, researchers can investigate their interactions with other cellular components, assess their functional roles in signaling pathways, and develop potential therapeutic strategies for targeting APC-related dysfunctions in cancer. Moreover, the recombinant proteins serve as valuable tools in the development of cancer models and screening for drug candidates that could restore the function of APC or target aberrant Wnt signaling caused by APC mutations. As the understanding of APC's role in cancer biology advances, research continues to focus on the development of innovative approaches to harness its therapeutic potential, making APC an attractive target in the ongoing fight against colorectal cancer and other malignancies associated with Wnt signaling dysregulation.
