Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADCY7, or Adenylate Cyclase 7, is a member of the adenylyl cyclase family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels within cells. cAMP is a vital second messenger involved in numerous physiological processes, including signal transduction, gene expression, and cell proliferation. Research on ADCY7 has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in various diseases, including neurological disorders, metabolic syndromes, and cancer. The protein is predominantly expressed in the brain and is known to mediate the effects of several neurotransmitters, making it an interesting target for understanding synaptic plasticity and cognitive function. Additionally, studies have suggested that ADCY7 may interact with specific G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) and other signaling molecules, thus influencing downstream signaling pathways. The recombinant production of ADCY7 protein is essential for in vitro studies, allowing researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, functional mechanisms, and interactions with pharmacological agents. By producing and characterizing ADCY7 recombinant protein, scientists aim to elucidate its role in health and disease, potentially leading to the development of targeted therapeutics that modulate its activity. This research not only enhances our understanding of cAMP signaling but also opens new avenues for drug discovery in the context of conditions associated with dysregulated ADCY7 activity.
