Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCAS2 (Breast Cancer Amplified Sequence 2) is a protein implicated in various biological processes, including cellular proliferation, differentiation, and cancer progression. Initially identified in breast cancer studies, BCAS2 has gained attention for its potential role as an oncogene, particularly due to its amplification in breast tumors. Research has shown that BCAS2 may be involved in the regulation of gene expression and may interact with several signaling pathways associated with cancer cell survival and metastasis. Its expression levels are often correlated with poor prognosis in breast cancer patients, suggesting that BCAS2 could serve as a valuable biomarker for disease progression. Moreover, recent studies have indicated that BCAS2 could influence the behavior of other cancer types, highlighting its possible involvement in broader cancer biology. Due to its significant role and potential applications in cancer therapy and diagnostics, the study of BCAS2 recombinant protein has become vital for understanding its functions, interactions, and mechanisms in tumorigenesis. Researchers are exploring its structural properties, binding interactions, and therapeutic potential, aiming to develop targeted interventions that could improve treatment outcomes and enhance our understanding of breast cancer and other malignancies linked to BCAS2 expression.
