Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCAR1, or Breast Cancer Anti-Estrogen Resistance 1, is a crucial protein implicated in the development of resistance to anti-estrogen therapies in breast cancer. Its role in cell signaling pathways that mediate cell survival and proliferation has made it a focal point of research in understanding not only breast cancer biology but also the mechanisms underlying therapeutic resistance. The protein interacts with various molecules involved in signaling cascades, including the PI3K/Akt pathway, which is vital for tumor growth and survival. Studies have shown that BCAR1 overexpression is linked to poor clinical outcomes in breast cancer patients, marking it as a potential biomarker for therapy resistance. The recombinant form of BCAR1 has been utilized in various experiments to elucidate its functional characteristics and interactions at the molecular level. Understanding the structural and functional aspects of BCAR1 through recombinant protein studies can pave the way for developing targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at overcoming resistance in breast cancer treatment. The exploration of BCAR1 not only aids in refining cancer prognostics but also enhances the potential for personalized medicine approaches in managing breast cancer more effectively.
