Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NAALADL2, a member of the N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase (NAALADase) family, has gained attention in recent years due to its potential roles in neurobiology and cancer biology. This enzyme is implicated in the regulation of neuropeptides and is thought to influence various physiological processes, including neuronal differentiation, synaptic plasticity, and possibly neurodegenerative diseases. Research has shown that NAALADL2 may also play a role in cancer progression, as it is overexpressed in several types of tumors, suggesting its involvement in tumorigenesis and metastasis. The study of recombinant NAALADL2 protein allows for a deeper understanding of its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and potential therapeutic applications. By producing and characterizing this protein, researchers aim to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and contributions to both normal physiology and pathological conditions. Furthermore, insights gained from NAALADL2 research may pave the way for innovative treatment strategies targeting neurodegenerative diseases and cancer, highlighting the significance of this enzyme in biomedical research.
