Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
POU2AF1, also known as OBF-1, is a member of the POU (Pit-Oct-Unc) family of transcription factors, which play a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression, particularly in the immune system. It is primarily involved in the maturation of B cells and the production of immunoglobulins. The significance of studying POU2AF1 lies in its association with various hematological malignancies, notably its involvement in the pathogenesis of lymphomas. Specifically, mutations or alterations in the POU2AF1 gene have been linked to the development of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Understanding the functional mechanisms of POU2AF1 and its interaction with other transcriptional regulators can provide insights into the underlying processes of B-cell malignancies and may offer potential therapeutic targets. Additionally, the production of recombinant POU2AF1 protein allows researchers to investigate its structure-function relationships, further exploring its role in transcriptional regulation and B-cell differentiation. As a result, POU2AF1 serves as an important focal point in both basic and applied research, contributing to our understanding of immune system functions and the development of targeted therapies for related diseases.
