Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIF20A, a member of the kinesin superfamily of motor proteins, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport and mitotic processes. It is predominantly expressed during cell division, particularly during the formation and stabilization of the mitotic spindle and cytokinesis, where it is involved in the transport of organelles, vesicles, and protein complexes. Abnormal expression of KIF20A has been linked to various cancers, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the regulation of cell cycle dynamics and its contribution to the maintenance of genomic stability. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant KIF20A proteins can provide insights into these mechanisms and their implications in cancer biology. The development of recombinant KIF20A proteins is essential for studying their enzymatic activity, interaction with other cellular components, and functional roles in cellular processes. This research not only enhances our understanding of basic cell biology but also opens avenues for novel treatment strategies in cancer, given the protein's association with tumorigenesis and poor prognosis. As a result, KIF20A remains a significant focus of research in the fields of molecular biology and oncology, with the potential for developing innovative therapeutic approaches aimed at targeting its pathways.
