Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIF14 (Kinesin Family Member 14) is a member of the kinesin superfamily of motor proteins, which play crucial roles in various intracellular transport processes and cell division. Recent studies have shown that KIF14 is involved in the regulation of mitotic spindle formation, cytokinesis, and may also have implications in cancer biology, particularly in tumorigenesis and progression. Its dysregulation has been associated with various types of malignancies, leading to increased interest in understanding its functional mechanisms and potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of KIF14 allows researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and its role in cellular processes in a controlled environment. By utilizing techniques such as recombinant protein production, researchers aim to elucidate the structural and functional characteristics of KIF14, enabling the development of targeted therapies that manipulate its activity in pathological conditions. This background underscores the importance of KIF14 in cellular biology and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in cancer treatment strategies.
