Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FOXC1 (Forkhead Box C1) is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue repair. It is encoded by the FOXC1 gene, located on chromosome 6, and is a member of the Forkhead box family of proteins, which are characterized by a distinctive forkhead DNA-binding domain. Abnormal FOXC1 expression has been implicated in several diseases, including glaucoma, where it is associated with alterations in anterior segment development, leading to increased intraocular pressure and potential vision loss. Additionally, FOXC1 has been linked to aggressive forms of cancer, such as breast cancer, where its overexpression contributes to tumor progression, metastasis, and resistance to therapies. Given its significant roles in development and disease, understanding the structure and function of FOXC1 at the molecular level is essential. The study of FOXC1 recombinant proteins aids in elucidating its biological functions, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other proteins. Such research has the potential to uncover novel therapeutic targets and strategies for diseases where FOXC1 is involved. By producing and characterizing FOXC1 recombinant proteins, researchers can investigate the functional implications of FOXC1 mutations, assess its role in gene regulation, and explore its potential as a biomarker for disease prognosis and treatment response.
