简介
SUSD4 protein acts as a complement inhibitor by disrupting classical C3 convertase formation. Isoform 3 specifically inhibits the classical complement pathway, and membrane-bound isoform 1 inhibits C3b deposition through classical and alternative pathways, showcasing SUSD4's regulatory role in complement activation and potential significance in immune response modulation. SUSD4 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived SUSD4 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-mFc labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SUSD4, or Sushi Domain Containing 4, is a protein that has garnered attention in the field of biomedical research due to its potential roles in cell adhesion, development, and immune response. It is part of the sushi domain-containing protein family, which is characterized by the presence of multiple sushi repeats thought to mediate protein-protein interactions. Research indicates that SUSD4 may play a crucial role in various physiological processes, particularly in the context of cancer biology, where its expression levels can influence tumorigenesis and metastasis. Additionally, SUSD4 has been implicated in the regulation of immune cell functions, making it a candidate for studying immunological disorders and therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structural and functional properties of SUSD4, particularly through the analysis of its recombinant forms, can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and contribute to the development of targeted therapies. Recent studies have focused on the recombination and expression of SUSD4 in various systems to elucidate its role in normal and pathological conditions, paving the way for potential clinical applications. This background sets the stage for ongoing research into SUSD4, aiming to clarify its contributions to health and disease.
