Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PITPNb (Phosphatidylinositol Transfer Protein, Beta) is a member of a family of proteins that play critical roles in lipid and membrane dynamics, particularly in phosphoinositide metabolism. Research into PITPNb has gained momentum due to its significant involvement in cellular processes such as signal transduction, membrane trafficking, and cell proliferation. Abnormal regulation or expression of PITPNb has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, making it a target of interest for therapeutic intervention. Functionally, PITPNb facilitates the transfer of phospholipids between membranes, which is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and signaling pathways. Recent studies have focused on understanding its structural properties and interactions with other cellular components, using recombinant technology to produce PITPNb proteins for detailed biochemical analyses. This allows researchers to dissect its mechanisms of action at the molecular level, providing insights into its role in health and disease. By elucidating the structure-function relationship of PITPNb, scientists aim to identify potential drug targets and develop novel therapeutic strategies, highlighting the protein's relevance in both basic research and clinical applications.
