Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APX2, or Ascorbate Peroxidase 2, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the antioxidant defense system of plants, specifically in the detoxification of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) generated during various stress conditions. Understanding the structure and function of APX2 is essential for unraveling its role in plant responses to abiotic stresses, such as drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures, which are increasingly relevant in the context of climate change. Research efforts have focused on the genetic, biochemical, and physiological aspects of APX2 to understand its contribution to plant resilience. Recombinant APX2 proteins are of significant interest due to their potential applications in biotechnology and agriculture, as enhancing the expression or activity of APX2 could improve plant performance under stress conditions. Additionally, the production of APX2 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed studies on its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and interaction with other cellular components. Such insights can lead to the development of innovative strategies for improving crop yield and sustainability in the face of global environmental challenges.
