简介
Kallikrein-1 protein cleaves bonds in kininogen to release Lys-bradykinin. It also cleaves Neisseria meningitidis NHBA in saliva during microbial infection.Kallikrein-1 Protein, Human (244a.a, HEK293, His, solution) is the recombinant human-derived Kallikrein-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Kallikrein-1 (KLK1) is a serine protease that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including blood pressure regulation, the inflammatory response, and fluid balance. It is primarily produced in the kidneys and has been linked to several pathological conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. Research into KLK1 has gained momentum due to its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis, as well as its therapeutic implications. The recombinant expression of KLK1 provides a valuable tool for studying its enzymatic properties, interactions with substrates, and effects in different biological contexts. Moreover, the availability of recombinant KLK1 enhances efforts to investigate its role in pathophysiological processes and explore its potential as a target for drug development. As scientific interest in KLK1 continues to grow, understanding its structure-function relationship and regulatory mechanisms could uncover novel insights into its role in health and disease, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies.
