Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RISC (RNA-induced silencing complex) is a crucial component in the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, playing a significant role in regulating gene expression by guiding small RNA molecules to complementary messenger RNA (mRNA) targets for degradation or translational repression. The study of RISC and its constituent proteins, particularly the Argonaute (Ago) proteins, has gained considerable attention due to their potential implications in both fundamental biological processes and therapeutic applications. With advancements in molecular biology techniques, researchers have begun to explore the intricate mechanisms underlying RISC assembly, the specificity of small RNA loading, and the subsequent interactions with mRNA. The functional characterization of RISC-associated proteins, which may involve recombinant protein expression and purification, has revealed insights into their roles in modulating gene silencing activities. Furthermore, manipulating RISC activity has emerged as a promising strategy for gene regulation in various fields, including cancer therapy, viral infection control, and genetic disorders. The exploration of RISC dynamics and its regulation offers a wealth of opportunities for innovative research, paving the way for novel RNA-based therapies and biotechnological applications aimed at harnessing the power of RNAi for precise gene modulation.
