Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDK17 (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 17) is a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family that plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes, including transcription and cell cycle progression. CDK17 has garnered significant interest due to its involvement in the phosphorylation of transcriptional regulators and its potential effects on gene expression. CCNY (Cyclin Y), on the other hand, is a cyclin that interacts with CDK17 and is thought to modulate its activity, thereby influencing cellular responses to different physiological stimuli. The CDK17-CCNY complex has been implicated in various cellular pathways, including cell differentiation and proliferation, highlighting its importance in development and disease. Recent studies have indicated that dysregulation of this complex may contribute to oncogenesis and other pathophysiological conditions. Therefore, understanding the structural and functional dynamics of the CDK17-CCNY recombinant protein is essential for elucidating its role in cellular regulation and its potential as a therapeutic target. Researchers aim to produce and characterize the recombinant CDK17-CCNY protein to explore its biochemical properties, interaction mechanisms, and the implications for targeted therapies in diseases linked to its dysregulation. This research could pave the way for novel strategies in cancer treatment and other disorders associated with abnormal cell cycle regulation.
