Gene name
CDK15-CCNY
-
简介
The CDK15ic protein, functioning as an antiapoptotic kinase, counteracts TRAIL/TNFSF10-induced apoptosis by phosphorylating BIRC5 at 'Thr-34'. This regulatory role crucially inhibits programmed cell death triggered by TRAIL/TNFSF10, highlighting the heterodimer's active contribution to antiapoptotic signaling. CDK15-CCNY Protein, Human (sf9, GST, Flag) is the recombinant human-derived CDK15-CCNY, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with GST, Flag labeled tag. ,

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDK15 (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 15) and CCNY (Cyclin Y) are proteins that play crucial roles in regulating cell cycle progression and developmental processes. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of the CDK15-CCNY complex in various biological functions, including cell proliferation and differentiation. CDK15 is a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family, which is known to be involved in the phosphorylation of key substrates that drive the transition between different phases of the cell cycle. CCNY, on the other hand, acts as a regulatory partner that modulates the activity and stability of CDK15. The interaction between CDK15 and CCNY is significant for understanding tumor biology, as dysregulation of these proteins has been implicated in cancer progression. Investigating the CDK15-CCNY recombinant protein offers insights into their structural and functional dynamics, which can further elucidate their role in cellular processes. This research not only aims to reveal the mechanism of action of the CDK15-CCNY complex but also seeks to identify potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with their aberrant expression. By utilizing recombinant protein technology, scientists can produce and analyze CDK15-CCNY complexes in vitro, enabling high-throughput screening of inhibitors and contributing to the development of novel cancer treatments. Thus, the study of CDK15-CCNY recombinant proteins stands to advance our understanding of cell cycle regulation and provide a foundation for future therapeutic innovations.
