简介
Beta-Catenin protein is an important component of the canonical Wnt pathway and regulates cellular processes. In the absence of Wnt, it complexes with AXIN1, AXIN2, APC, CSNK1A1, and GSK3B to promote CTNNB1 phosphorylation and degradation. beta-Catenin Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived beta-Catenin protein, expressed by E. coli, with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Beta-catenin is a multifunctional protein that plays a crucial role in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is vital for regulating cell proliferation, differentiation, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition during development and tissue homeostasis. Abnormal regulation or mutations in beta-catenin can lead to various diseases, including cancers, particularly colorectal cancer, where it often accumulates in the nucleus and activates transcription of oncogenes. As a result, understanding the structure, function, and interactions of beta-catenin has become a significant focus in molecular biology and therapeutic development. Research on recombinant beta-catenin proteins has enabled scientists to investigate its biochemical properties, binding affinities, and cellular effects in a controlled environment. By producing recombinant beta-catenin in suitable expression systems, researchers can obtain large quantities of the protein for structural studies, functional assays, and drug discovery. Additionally, recombinant beta-catenin serves as a valuable tool for studying its role in cell signaling and developmental processes. Overall, the study of beta-catenin and its recombinant forms contributes to a deeper understanding of its biological significance and the identification of potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with its dysregulation.
