  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Osteocrin is a secreted protein primarily expressed in osteoblasts and has gained attention in recent years due to its potential role in bone remodeling and mineralization. It is closely associated with the extracellular matrix and interacts with various signaling pathways that regulate bone formation and homeostasis. Research has demonstrated that Osteocrin can modulate the activity of osteoblasts and osteoclasts, thereby influencing bone density and strength. Investigations into the recombinant form of Osteocrin have been propelled by its promising implications for treating bone-related disorders such as osteoporosis and fractures. Scientists have focused on the design and production of recombinant Osteocrin to assess its biochemical properties, biological activity, and therapeutic potential. Moreover, studies have explored its mechanisms of action, including its engagement with other cellular receptors and signaling molecules involved in the bone remodeling process. Understanding and harnessing the functionalities of recombinant Osteocrin could pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing bone health and mitigating the impacts of degenerative bone diseases.
