Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HSPD1, or Heat Shock Protein Family D Member 1, is a key mitochondrial chaperone involved in protein folding, assembly, and transport within the mitochondria, playing a crucial role in cellular stress responses. Its proper functioning is essential for maintaining mitochondrial integrity and cellular homeostasis. Recent studies have implicated HSPD1 in various pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, and metabolic disorders, highlighting its significance beyond traditional chaperone functions. Research has increasingly focused on the potential of HSPD1 as a therapeutic target, as its dysregulation has been associated with disease progression. The development of recombinant HSPD1 proteins has facilitated in-depth studies into their molecular mechanisms and interactions, paving the way for innovative treatment approaches. By generating recombinant forms of HSPD1, researchers can investigate its role in cellular processes more closely and assess its potential in therapeutic interventions. The enhancement of HSPD1's activity or the modulation of its expression levels could present new avenues for mitigating mitochondrial dysfunction and related diseases. Thus, recombinant HSPD1 proteins have emerged as valuable tools for elucidating the complex relationships between mitochondrial health and overall cellular function, making them a focal point in contemporary biomedical research.
