Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLEC4K, a member of the C-type lectin receptor family, has garnered significant attention in immunology and infectious disease research. Its primary function is to recognize and bind various pathogens, thereby playing a crucial role in initiating immune responses. The receptor is predominantly expressed in dendritic cells and macrophages, where it participates in antigen presentation and the modulation of immune signaling pathways. Studies have indicated that CLEC4K can influence the differentiation of T cells and the production of cytokines, which are essential for coordinating the immune response. Recent research has focused on CLEC4K's interactions with specific pathogens, including viruses and bacteria, to understand its role in host defense mechanisms. Moreover, there is growing interest in the therapeutic potential of targeting CLEC4K for vaccine development and immunotherapy. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying CLEC4K's function and its contribution to immune regulation may provide insights into novel strategies for enhancing immune responses against infections and cancer. As studies continue to unravel its complexities, CLEC4K stands out as a promising candidate for further exploration in the quest for effective immune modulation.
