Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MTA1 (metastasis-associated protein 1) is a member of the amphiphysin/curvature-sensing protein family, known for its significant role in cancer biology, particularly in tumor metastasis and progression. Research has shown that MTA1 is frequently overexpressed in various types of human cancers, including breast, colorectal, and gastric cancers, which correlates with poor prognosis and enhanced metastatic potential. This protein is involved in critical cellular processes such as chromatin remodeling, transcriptional regulation, and cell migration, affecting the expression of genes associated with tumor aggressiveness. Its multifunctional properties, including interaction with several signaling pathways and nuclear receptors, highlight its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on the development of recombinant MTA1 protein to elucidate its structural characteristics and interactions with other cellular components. This recombinant approach not only aids in understanding its biological functions but also opens avenues for novel cancer therapies that could inhibit MTA1 activity, thereby reducing metastatic spread and improving patient outcomes. Moreover, investigations into the mechanistic pathways regulated by MTA1 have revealed its involvement in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), further emphasizing its role in cancer metastasis. Overall, the study of recombinant MTA1 protein provides critical insights into its functionality and therapeutic implications, underlining its relevance in oncology research.
