Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IGF2BP2, or Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 mRNA Binding Protein 2, is a crucial RNA-binding protein that plays a significant role in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. Its importance has been underscored by its association with various physiological and pathological processes, including growth, development, and metabolism. Research indicates that IGF2BP2 is involved in the stability and translation of mRNAs related to insulin signaling and glucose metabolism, making it particularly relevant to studies of diabetes and obesity. Furthermore, IGF2BP2 is implicated in cancer biology, with evidence suggesting that its deregulation can contribute to tumorigenesis by enhancing the expression of oncogenes and inhibiting tumor suppressor genes. The study of IGF2BP2 recombinant proteins provides valuable insights into the mechanism of RNA binding and regulatory functions, allowing researchers to elucidate its role in cellular processes and disease states. By leveraging recombinant protein technology, scientists can create specific IGF2BP2 variants to investigate their binding affinities, target mRNAs, and regulatory effects in various cellular contexts. This research not only enhances our understanding of IGF2BP2's biological functions but also opens potential avenues for therapeutic interventions in diseases linked to its dysregulation, such as metabolic disorders and cancer. Therefore, the study of IGF2BP2 recombinant proteins is pivotal for advancing our knowledge in molecular biology and developing strategies for treating related diseases.
