Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Histone proteins play a crucial role in the organization and regulation of chromatin structure, which is essential for gene expression, DNA replication, and repair processes. One specific histone protein, Histone H2A.BB (Hist1h2ba), has garnered attention in recent years due to its unique features and potential implications in various biological processes. Researchers have found that Hist1h2ba is involved in the dynamic remodeling of chromatin, influencing how DNA is accessed by transcription factors and other regulatory proteins. Its expression patterns suggest a role in cellular differentiation, development, and responses to environmental cues. Moreover, abnormalities in histone modifications, including those involving Hist1h2ba, have been linked to various diseases, including cancer, where altered gene expression profiles can lead to uncontrolled cellular proliferation. The production and study of recombinant Hist1h2ba proteins allow for in-depth investigations into their biochemical properties and interactions with other cellular molecules. By understanding the functional roles of this histone variant, researchers aim to elucidate its contributions to chromatin dynamics and to explore its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in diseases characterized by epigenetic dysregulation. As such, recombinant Hist1h2ba presents a promising tool for advancing our knowledge of epigenetics and its impact on health and disease.
