  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

FOXO4, a member of the Forkhead box O (FOX) transcription factor family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its crucial role in regulating various biological processes, including cell cycle control, apoptosis, and oxidative stress response. It is particularly implicated in aging and lifespan regulation, given its ability to modulate the expression of genes associated with cellular repair and survival. Recent studies have shown that FOXO4 can influence stem cell maintenance and play a protective role against cellular senescence. The manipulation of FOXO4 activity, particularly through the development of recombinant FOXO4 proteins, offers promising therapeutic potential. Researchers aim to utilize these modified proteins to restore normal cellular functions in aging-related diseases and tissue regeneration. The exploration of FOXO4's mechanisms of action, along with the potential for FOXO4-based interventions, is advancing our understanding of aging biology and opens new avenues for innovative treatments targeting age-associated disorders. The investigation of FOXO4 recombinant proteins is poised to contribute valuable insights into how we might leverage this transcription factor for regenerative medicine and longevity research.
