  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

FOXJ2 (Forkhead Box J2) is a member of the forkhead box (FOX) family of transcription factors known for their roles in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and cellular response to stress. Research into FOXJ2 has gained momentum due to its significant involvement in cilia formation and function, which are critical for proper cellular signaling and movement, particularly in respiratory epithelial cells. Abnormalities in cilia have been linked to diseases such as situs inversus, primary ciliary dyskinesia, and various respiratory illnesses. Given its pivotal role in regulating genes associated with ciliary structure and motility, FOXJ2 is considered a potential therapeutic target for such conditions. Additionally, studies have suggested that FOXJ2 may influence stem cell pluripotency and differentiation, thereby contributing to tissue regeneration and repair. The generation of recombinant FOXJ2 protein allows for in-depth studies of its functional mechanisms, interactions with other proteins, and its impact on ciliary biology, ultimately aiding in the understanding of its role in health and disease. As a result, FOXJ2 stands out as a focus of interest in developmental biology and medical research, as further elucidation of its pathways could lead to novel strategies for treating ciliary-related disorders and enhancing regenerative medicine.
