Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIF2α, or Hypoxia-Inducible Factor 2 Alpha, is a crucial transcription factor that plays a significant role in cellular responses to hypoxia (low oxygen levels). As a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) family of proteins, HIF2α is primarily involved in the regulation of genes that facilitate adaptation to low oxygen environments, influencing processes such as angiogenesis, erythropoiesis, and metabolism. Abnormal HIF2α activity has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, where it can promote tumor growth and metastasis by enabling cancer cells to thrive in hypoxic regions of tumors. Research has focused on the characterization and functional analysis of recombinant HIF2α proteins to better understand its role in these processes. Producing recombinant HIF2α allows researchers to investigate its interactions with other proteins, its downstream targets, and the impact of post-translational modifications. Additionally, since HIF2α is a promising therapeutic target, studies are exploring small molecule inhibitors that can interfere with its function, providing new avenues for cancer treatment and potential strategies for modulating its activity in various diseases associated with hypoxia. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning HIF2α action through recombinant proteins is essential for developing targeted therapies and advancing our knowledge of oxygen-sensing pathways in both health and disease.
