Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UPF3A (Unstable Processed 3A) is a critical component of the nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD) pathway, which plays a vital role in cellular responses to mRNA surveillance and regulation. This pathway serves to degrade mRNAs that contain premature stop codons, thereby preventing the synthesis of truncated and potentially harmful proteins. Research into UPF3A's structure and function has gained momentum due to its implications in various biological processes and diseases, including neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer. The UPF3A protein interacts with other key elements in the NMD pathway, such as UPF1 and UPF2, forming a complex that facilitates the recognition and degradation of faulty mRNA transcripts. Furthermore, recent studies have indicated that UPF3A may also have regulatory roles beyond NMD, influencing gene expression and cellular signaling pathways. A comprehensive understanding of UPF3A's biochemical properties and interactions can provide insights into its functional mechanisms and potential as a therapeutic target. As researchers continue to investigate UPF3A through methods like protein reconstruction and characterization, the potential for developing targeted strategies to modulate its activity in disease contexts remains promising. This ongoing research is crucial for elucidating the complexities of mRNA processing and its impact on cellular homeostasis and pathology.
