Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TGM6, or transglutaminase 6, is a member of the transglutaminase family of enzymes, which are primarily involved in the post-translational modification of proteins through the covalent cross-linking of glutamine and lysine residues. This enzymatic activity plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, apoptosis, and the stabilization of extracellular matrices. Recent studies have highlighted the involvement of TGM6 in neurodegenerative diseases, obesity, and certain cancers, necessitating a deeper understanding of its functional mechanisms and regulatory pathways. The therapeutic potential of targeting TGM6 has garnered interest, particularly in developing strategies for disease intervention. The production and characterization of recombinant TGM6 protein have become pivotal in elucidating its role in cellular processes and identifying potential inhibitors or modulators for clinical applications. By using advances in recombinant DNA technology, researchers can generate TGM6 in a controlled environment, allowing for detailed biochemical and biophysical studies. Furthermore, understanding TGM6's structure-function relationship is essential for designing targeted therapies that can ameliorate conditions associated with its dysregulation. Continued investigation into TGM6 represents a promising avenue for biotechnology and pharmaceutical development, with the potential to contribute significantly to the fields of molecular biology and medicine.
