Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ULK1 (Unc-51 Like Autophagy Activating Kinase 1) is a vital serine/threonine kinase that plays an essential role in the initiation of autophagy, a cellular process crucial for maintaining homeostasis by degrading and recycling cellular components. Research indicates that ULK1 operates as a central regulator in autophagy by forming a complex with other proteins such as Atg13 and FIP200, responding to various cellular signals including nutrient availability and energy status. Dysregulation of ULK1 and autophagy has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, neurodegeneration, and infectious diseases, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions. As such, the study of ULK1 recombinant protein has gained significant traction in the field of cellular biology. By producing and purifying ULK1 in a recombinant form, researchers can conduct in-depth functional assays, investigate its biochemical properties, and explore its interactions with other autophagy-related proteins. This enhances our understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing autophagy and its role in disease. Additionally, recombinant ULK1 can be utilized in drug screening and the development of novel autophagy modulators. Overall, the study of ULK1 recombinant protein is pivotal for elucidating the complexities of autophagic regulation and its implications for health and disease.
