Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UCKL1 (Ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase L1) is a member of the ubiquitin-specific protease family, playing a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is vital for protein degradation and regulation of various cellular processes. Its involvement in several neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Huntington's, has garnered significant research interest due to its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, UCKL1 is implicated in the regulation of cell cycle and apoptosis, making it a key player in cancer biology as well. The recombinant expression of UCKL1 allows for the detailed study of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other cellular components, providing valuable insights into its biological functions and potential as a drug target. By generating UCKL1 as a purified recombinant protein, researchers can investigate its structure-function relationships, explore its role in disease mechanisms, and assess the effects of small molecules or genetic modifications on its activity. Understanding UCKL1's mechanisms and pathways could illuminate new strategies for therapeutic interventions in neurodegenerative diseases and cancers, ultimately contributing to the development of novel treatments.
