Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXO31, a member of the F-box protein family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, which is essential for protein degradation and cell cycle regulation. This protein is characterized by its unique F-box motif, which facilitates its interaction with Skp1 and serves as a substrate recognition component of the SCF (Skp1-Cullin-F-box) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. Research has increasingly focused on FBXO31 due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of FBXO31 has been implicated in several cancers, suggesting its potential as a tumor suppressor. Studies indicate that FBXO31 can target key cell cycle regulators for ubiquitination, thereby influencing cell cycle progression and stability of oncogenes. This makes FBXO31 a promising candidate for therapeutic intervention and biomarker development in cancer treatment. Understanding the mechanisms behind FBXO31's role in the proteolytic system can provide insights into novel strategies for combating malignancies, thus highlighting the significance of ongoing research into the functional and regulatory aspects of this protein in both normal and pathological contexts.
