Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TTLL6 (tubulin tyrosine ligase-like 6) is a member of the TTLL family of enzymes, which are involved in the post-translational modification of tubulin, a fundamental protein that forms the structural framework of microtubules in eukaryotic cells. The TTLL family modifies tubulin by adding various chemical groups, influencing its stability, polymerization, and interactions with other proteins. TTLL6 specifically catalyzes the addition of a tyrosine residue to the C-terminus of tubulin, a modification critical for proper microtubule dynamics and cellular processes such as mitosis, intracellular transport, and cell motility. Research has shown that alterations in TTLL6 expression or activity can lead to various cellular dysfunctions, contributing to diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Moreover, the study of TTLL6 can provide insights into the regulation of microtubule-associated processes and their implications in pathological conditions. In recent years, the recombinant expression of TTLL6 has become a focus of interest for studying its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of TTLL6 will not only enhance our knowledge of microtubule biology but may also lead to the development of novel strategies for treating diseases associated with microtubule dysregulation.
