Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of CAD (Carbamoyl-Phosphate Synthetase, Aspartate Transcarbamoylase, and Dihydroorotase) recombinant proteins has gained significant attention in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology due to their crucial role in the pyrimidine biosynthesis pathway. CAD is a multifunctional enzyme complex that catalyzes the first three steps of this pathway, which is essential for the synthesis of nucleotides necessary for DNA and RNA production. Understanding the structure and function of CAD is vital for elucidating its regulatory mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. The generation of recombinant CAD proteins has enabled researchers to conduct detailed studies on enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and the effects of various inhibitors. Additionally, insights gained from CAD research hold potential therapeutic implications, particularly in the development of novel strategies for targeting cancer cells, which often exhibit altered nucleotide metabolism. Over the years, advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the expression and purification of CAD proteins in various model organisms, allowing for comprehensive functional analyses and structural determination through techniques like X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy. This research further underscores the importance of CAD in both fundamental biology and potential clinical applications, fostering a deeper understanding of metabolic diseases and the development of innovative therapeutic interventions.
