Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXL16, a member of the F-box protein family, is characterized by its ability to function as a substrate recognition component within the ubiquitin-proteasome system. This system is crucial for regulating various cellular processes, including the cell cycle, signal transduction, and the maintenance of protein homeostasis. Emerging studies have suggested that FBXL16 plays significant roles in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions, such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Its unique substrate selectivity makes FBXL16 an interesting target for understanding the mechanisms of protein degradation and signaling pathways. Recent research has focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which FBXL16 identifies and ubiquitinates its substrates, as well as its potential implications in disease contexts. Moreover, the reconstitution of FBXL16 as a recombinant protein allows for in-depth studies of its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and regulatory mechanisms. This makes it possible to explore FBXL16's role in various cellular processes more thoroughly, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity for potential benefit in disease treatment. In summary, the study of FBXL16 recombinant protein not only aids in providing insight into the intricacies of the ubiquitin-proteasome system but also sheds light on its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in various diseases.
