Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LETMD1 (Leucine and Glutamate-rich Protein with TMD) is an emerging protein of interest in biomedical research due to its potential roles in cellular processes and human diseases. Initially identified through genomic studies, LETMD1 has been linked to various cellular functions, including regulation of mitochondrial dynamics, apoptosis, and stress responses. Recent studies suggest that LETMD1 may play a critical role in neurodegenerative diseases, as its expression levels have been found to vary in neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. This has prompted researchers to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying LETMD1's function and its impact on neuronal health. To further explore these aspects, the development of recombinant LETMD1 protein has become a crucial step. By producing this protein in a controlled laboratory setting, scientists aim to conduct functional assays and structural characterization to elucidate its biological activities and interactions. Understanding LETMD1's function may provide insights into its roles in cellular homeostasis and disease pathology, paving the way for the development of potential therapeutic strategies targeting neurodegeneration and other related disorders. As such, research on recombinant LETMD1 not only contributes to fundamental biological knowledge but also holds promise for future clinical implications.
